The CPU can only handle speeds up to 2933 MHz, which means anything higher requires an overclock of the memory controller. This explains why Tofu suggested raising the CPU's voltage. It can sometimes assist the memory controller in managing the increased frequency.

At the 2666 frequency I’d allow the board to set the timing. Keep DOCP/XMP in auto or disabled mode. Make sure to raise the memory voltage to 1.35v.
