People often believe high speed isn't desirable unless it's built for it. Stick to default configurations—avoid overclocking or underclocking. Keep the fan on if your water cooler has one, as that’s mainly for VRM cooling. The airflow around the VRM usually isn’t critical. If you push the CPU hard, a little extra cooling helps, but it doesn’t cool the CPU itself—it manages the VRM. Make sure your radiator fans are always running.

I don't see any indication of a "Start" button or two LEDs near the Asus logo on the motherboard. Please check your setup or consult the manual for accurate details.

I was somewhat accurate. This shows how a 4790K performs with all four cores at 4.8GHz. And it displays the results when I boost one core to 4.9GHz. The coverage depends on the maximum permissible multiplier, not just the single highest value.

Interesting point. The same check on my 9900K shows different results each time.

I also turned off the AI feature in the BIOS (though XMP1 is still active, probably more about performance than anything else), and the processor caps at 4.8GHz, yet it still displays the X51 model.
