I checked with Asus, but they mentioned it's not possible to turn them off. I understand mounting them vertically isn't an option for me.

This only mentions the multiplier range of 8 to 50. Those are the stock values. When operating at no load, the multiplier equals 8 for 800 MHz, and reaches 50 during the stock 5 GHz turbo mode.

Based on my observations, the displayed range shifts when you go beyond the stock for all-core boost. I'm not sure yet, but I'll check it again later.

I don’t have details about your motherboard or GPU. Could you share more information or check your device settings?

Understand the purpose of removing the Asus app and switching to XMP1 via BIOS. MSI Afterburner has no direct role here.

You can keep the Asus app running but turn off the AI overclock feature. For proper overclocking safely, research online and watch relevant videos. It requires effort, but it’s manageable. Use the AI Overclock settings as a starting point—perform a stress test, check the voltage, then adjust the multiplier to 51x and lower the voltage. However, with just a 2060 GPU, it’s not worth the time unless you’re very GPU-focused. MSI Afterburner works only for your GPU; set power and temperature limits to maximum, then try the built-in auto overclock. Even after extended sessions, I usually gain only a few MHz compared to what Afterburner provides.

I reached 4000mhz as shown in the photo. I ran Cinebench before and after that. Checked CPU temperature at 85°C for the 5000mhz setup and everything seemed fine. At 4000mhz, the cooler didn’t even start ^^

Why would you reduce the CPU speed? What are your intentions? Also, the cooling system must stay active, particularly for a 9900k processor. I’d strongly recommend updating your BIOS. Much of this seems confusing... Running at 4 GHz with a 33°C temperature and no fan is unusual. It’s idling, which explains why it only displays 7 watts, but the CPU fan should always operate.

I fully understand your perspective. Why would I choose to go down when the system believes it’s safe to run at that speed? Especially since this isn’t a manual overclock. Some people may think otherwise, but that’s okay—I appreciate your point. I’m sorry if I seemed to disagree. I have an AIO water cooler and the CPU pump is always active, though the small fan only kicks in during heavy use. Luckily for me!
