If this matches your system requirements, there should be no issues. Just set the view distance low and you're all set.
I don’t care if I can play the game; what concerns me is a company dropping it for everyone without it being fully optimized, especially given the price.
The results are disappointing everywhere, even when the screen distance is reduced to minimum. In fact, the game doesn’t look impressive enough to justify dropping frames to the 40s on powerful Intel processors, let alone the terrible performance it shows on almost every AMD chip. Those who can afford $300+ CPUs can squeeze in extra frames to push averages above 60, while others are left struggling with poor results. This is 2015. Most gamers have at least a quad processor; some still have dual, but I bet anyone playing today has a solid quad. Combined with consoles relying on multi-core processors for years, and games built to take advantage of those cores, the lack of proper threading support is unacceptable. Even if you’re using just one core, your game must work well across modern processors to deliver decent performance. If it’s not, then either there’s a mistake or someone intentionally trying to hurt you.
I don't really understand, but it looks like Intel's cores tend to be more powerful than AMD's, which is why a four-core Intel chip usually performs better than an eight-core AMD one. Even a dual-core HTed Core i3 can match up with an AMD version.
I verified my first core on the 8350 is consistently pinned at 100%. To resolve this, open Task Manager, set affinity while the game runs, uncheck the core that’s pinned, then click OK. Also, disabling the filter that causes graininess helped reduce the average to another 5fps. I’m really disappointed—this game drops below 30fps no matter what settings or resolution you use.
