The problem appears when using a manual CPU clock speed via BIOS. For instance, setting 4GHz can show 3.95GHz in Task Manager and HWinfo64. Switching to auto clock fixes it. Changing to Ryzen Master resolves the issue immediately.

This appears to be a reference to the Aorus B450M F50, commonly used as a BIOS for certain motherboards.

You should aim for a higher voltage when setting a manual OCR, though it’s not the main cause—possibly unrelated.

I think you might be experiencing the problem because the voltage wasn't sufficient, but briefly increasing it to 1.45V also caused the same issue. I went back to the method that always works for me with voltage. Setting my stock clock speed manually at the same setting didn’t help, which suggests a power-related issue isn’t the main cause. Using Ryzen Master without controlling voltage through it and only crashing when I reached 4.1GHz indicates there’s no power problem either. You seem to have enough voltage capacity now.

Hey @ShrimpBrime, do you know if this problem has happened before with earlier updates?

I haven't encountered this problem before. The only recent activity was updating my RAM module.

Yes, I understand you're referring to manual OCR instead of XMP format.
