I’m having trouble creating the config file. The tool isn’t available, so I can only mount the EFI partition. This is causing the “clover-genconfig not found” error during setup. It’s stopping progress on steps that need the config.

Selecting Mount EFI Partition places the Config.plist on the mounted desktop drive. Double-click it inside the drive to launch it automatically in Clover. During setup, remember to save it to Documents, Downloads, or another accessible location for future access.

Check the instructions on the installation page for Unibeast. Then review the Clover guidance provided.

Everything functions up to this point, yet the audio remains unresponsive. Executing the program triggers the error message: effective uid is not 0, sudo installed setuid root? Error occurred, AppleHDA.kext/Contents/Info.plist/BundleShortVersionString not found

It suggests running the installer alongside the existing setup—this would erase everything. EDIT: Also, using multibeast earlier caused my Hackintosh to freeze on the boot screen with the loading bar. EDIT 2: I accessed the installer but couldn’t locate the System/Library/Extensions directory. EDIT 3: nvm

Attempting installation via terminal triggers an error about Sudo permissions. It seems the sudo utility isn't set up with a non-root user, possibly requiring a reinstall unless you're familiar with troubleshooting steps.

I would just reinstall and follow the TonyMac guide from scratch again. Also, a quick question: is your BIOS configured for EFI operating systems? If not, enable EFI installs in your BIOS and reinstall. Clover really likes that approach. You might also consider using Unibeast if you don’t need to inject special kexts into Clover. The Clover way is clearly the superior method, though Unibeast could simplify things a lot.
