Sorry about that individual. It seems your Z97 PC Mate isn't the easiest on OSX. Gigabyte tends to be more accommodating. I'll attempt to adjust to what you currently have.
It's okay. Appreciate all the assistance. I didn't originally plan for this to become a hackintosh until I confirmed compatibility. I'm considering a Gigabyte motherboard for my upcoming project.
I found it simple because my B85-DS3H is an affordable board that’s easy to hack into a Hackintosh setup without much effort. It has some problems in other areas (like the 24-pin placement, faulty SATA port, and compatibility issues with Windows 8), but it’s perfect for budget Hackintosh projects. The Z97 PC Mate should function well, though Clover seems to be having trouble with it.
