It's too much effort, but it should function well

I confirmed my choice and opted for the Ryzen 7 3700X. I’ve always preferred Intel, so when the cost dropped enough, I switched back.

This model costs the same, and the 9700k seems to offer better performance than the 3700x.

It varies. A 9700k offers up to a 10% edge over 3700X in gaming, though frame rate consistency ranges from stable to noticeably lower. The main issue will be hardware compatibility—X570 remains pricier than Z390 for comparable specs, and PCIe 4.0 is restricted by the CPU's capabilities.
