I tried the intel extreme utility tool and changed my RAM multiplayer settings from 1,33 to 1,00. After restarting, the PC doesn't boot anymore (just fans and minimal work), but the mouse and display still don't function properly. Please help me.

IvyBridgeHP suggested clearing CMOS, adjusting the dimm slots, and resetting the BIOS to factory settings. They advised finding the flat round battery on the motherboard, removing it for about five minutes, and then reinstalling it.

Typically on the motherboard there is a tiny coin cell. I generally just disconnect the computer, remove the battery for a minute, and then put it back in before restarting. I’m not sure if there are other alternatives.

KLawinger :
IvyBridgeHP :
Change the CMOS and adjust the dimm slots. Reset your BIOS to factory settings.
I’m unsure how to clear the CMOS on my motherboard—I have CMOS+PW and followed HP’s steps but nothing worked. Maybe I’m doing it wrong... Could you help?
Locate the flat round battery on your motherboard, remove it for about 5 minutes, then reinstall.
I tried this before and couldn’t capture a picture of the CMOS inside the board, but you can try guiding me. I also have a CMOS jumper and the battery.

Disconnect the computer, remove the CMOS battery, let it sit for a while, then reinsert the battery and power the computer back on.

IvyBridgeHP shared some tips with KLawinger. They suggested clearing the CMOS, changing the dimm slots, and resetting the BIOS to factory settings. KLawinger expressed confusion about clearing CMOS on their motherboard and mentioned trying the CMOS jumper, even though they already had it. They asked for guidance and offered to try the method, hoping it might help.
