I frequently switch between the two monitors using alt+p, as my older second monitor emits a lot of blue light that strains my eyes. I'm not sure if it's the cause, but it tends to happen after doing this a lot. It doesn't occur often but can happen occasionally.
However, my FPS stays between 100 and 140 based on the game, even though I noticed that VSync doesn't work well with Freesync.
There seems to be a lot of old information out there...
Few monitors perform as poorly as this when it comes to free sync range.
Perhaps, though Gsync compatibility is a myth. Without a Gsync module, there is no Gsync.
Have you noticed the monitors over the past three years? Nvidia provides Gsync compatible certifications. They also embraced Vesa adaptive sync, ensuring that all DP freesync monitors are compatible with them (except for panels that don’t support freesync).
No Gsync Module means no Gsync. That's straightforward. Regardless of marketing messages.
Request input from Nvidia...
They introduced Gsync compatibility, verifying Vesa Adaptive sync on their GPUs.
They are the ones promoting it as Gsync. Whatever they define.
The story you're referring to began in early July when Nvidia allowed Gsync integration with Vesa Adaptive sync.
Monitors featuring Gsync modules are now labeled "Gsync Ultimate" by default.
