Being a professional football player who trains constantly and plays regularly can feel like an addiction rather than a passion.
I've played many games over 500 hours and don't believe I have an addiction because it doesn't impact my real life or social abilities. I simply enjoy having free time to play games and I also exercise regularly, so it's not just limited to gaming. Now, let's talk about aiming. To improve your aim, you need something you're comfortable with. Try different sensitivity settings. You might find something that works well—use aim maps or join custom pistol servers for focused practice. Spend a lot of time there until it feels natural. Ideally, it should feel great right away, and after practicing pistols, it should become perfect. I've followed this approach and discovered my comfort zone. If you're already at the top level, you're likely an excellent aim player—just not flawless. My own game sense is what's holding me back, not perfection. (I've reached about 500 hours and this is my first CS game.)
To improve, you need to keep practicing. Discover a skill that suits you, and succeed! I reached that level by working consistently, moving from S4 to MGE, and I’m still progressing.
Do you think you're earning your income from playing video games? It seems like a mismatch.
Everyone who competes professionally started by just playing occasionally.
Weird that you only want advice from people with 1000+ hours.. But here comes some advice from someone with only 300 hours. If you have reached your cap and you can't find any way to improve, that means you can't go past it. It's a good thing that you always want more, it's admirable. But be happy with what you have achieved so far instead of being sad, wondering why you can't keep improving. I hope you'll read the comment of an MG2 pleb. Thanks
