It really struck me when a longtime friend with 450 hours at LE started playing alongside me, especially since he was being so competitive. Watching him was frustrating in many ways, and I realized I needed to adjust my settings and aim. I've tried all kinds of practice for hours, but I still didn't see improvement. Thanks!
I was GN2 about a month back. I began playing nonstop whenever I had time, usually three match games a day with aim/ffa for around an hour. Now I’m LEM. The main advice is just to keep playing and exploring the game. When you feel ready, take a break; when you do play, it should be infrequent. Play very seriously on an ESEA/CEVO server.
I mentioned 1000 hours because I wanted serious players, more than 500 is enough for good aim. My problem is this—I haven’t hit my cap yet, I know it, but I feel like I have. My aim was stronger back in the MGE era than it is now. I’ve improved through movement and game sense; with my old aim, I could have been much better. I missed many easy shots because of my aim, even when I’m perfectly positioned. It’s frustrating.
It simply indicates they enjoy those games the most. Especially when playing with friends. The top titles are CS:GO, Dota, LoL, and HS. Individuals attending school without other interests often dedicate their time to gaming, and not everyone engages in ten different games.
