You might use a CNVi card in a system without a compatible CPU because it provides specialized hardware acceleration for certain tasks, improving performance even when the main processor lacks support.

It seems the stock card functions as expected. A firmware update might be needed—possibly due to a bug, given ASUS allows certain WiFi cards on their network. The OS could also be the cause, since I’ve successfully used the Intel 9260 in several systems without problems (I always use SDIO for driver installation).

It originally came with the Intel 9461 or 9462, not the 9560.

The options reduce to just one model: the Intel AX200 or the Intel 9260. The CNVi support seems unlikely for the latter.

Try to get the Ax200 if possible. Think it might be the Flashship Laptop Wi-Fi Card—uncertain. Updated: I meant a flagship model, not Flashship. Edited September 10, 2019 by Saksham
