I'm currently using the Ubuntu live disc while Windows 7 boots are failing after updates. The BSOD appears immediately, and it doesn’t load properly. This is frustrating—I’ve tried everything but can’t fix it from the disc, and there’s no clear solution. I’m pretty exhausted about this situation.

He requested an error code. Your response is somewhat hasty, but I’m trying to assist. Here’s what you need:
1. The message during Windows 10 upgrade.
2. The message after updating Windows 7.
3. The message on Linux systems.
4. A list of your computer’s specifications (hardware details).

No error messages appeared; the Windows crash screen showed instantly and disappeared briefly before the PC restarted. At the moment, Ubuntu is installed, though it feels quite outdated and complicated, but still functional. Staying objective, I’m currently looking for answers about why Windows failed. It’s funny that someone would suggest Linux for speed—this system runs significantly slower than Windows 10 even with malware present.

Avoid going online unless necessary. Restrict access carefully. Switching to Linux doesn’t instantly provide this. If you allow something, it will act according to its design. This reflects the core idea of computer security. The issue with Windows is that it sacrifices some convenience for ease of use, which affects security. That’s why I prefer a standard account on my Windows system. For greater control, consider Gentoo Linux. You’ll need to assemble the entire operating system and applications yourself. This hands-on approach can deepen your understanding of how computers and OSes function overall.

Did you check Ubuntu's website guidelines? It can be a bit tricky, took me around a day on my first attempt. I'm not sure if it's actually slower, but it seems to function. 2. What kind of storage device are you using? (Hard drive or Solid State Drive[SSD]) Hard drives generally last about four years, though some last longer or shorter. 3. Which Ubuntu version did you install? I need a confirmed version number to help identify any performance issues. 4. Would you like me to record a short video demonstrating what's slowing things down? (Grab your phone, aim the camera at the screen, upload it to YouTube and share the link here.) For clarity, please number each answer to the right question. Thanks.
