Honestly, the Windows Task Manager doesn’t confirm an overclock. Those readings look pretty extreme. My R7 1700 running at 4.2ghz with a 1.4vcore does reach those temps—especially on a loop designed for this boost. What kind of tests are you running? Those values are solid if they hold steady—check my profile, and let’s see some real benchmarks. Good numbers, but we need proof.

Examples of checking benchmarks to confirm an OC - Cinebench only confirms 4.1ghz, 4.2 causes crashes regardless of voltage. Firestrike can verify @ 4.2ghz @ 3600mhz RAM (in sig).

I just completed a double pass handbrake encode. It wasn’t ideal, but I wanted to check it out. I downloaded 3D Mark and plan to experiment with it for a while. Also, I reduced the OC to 4.4GHz and 1.35v. I’ll test that first before adjusting the voltage.

I handle Cinebench R20 smoothly at 1.30V for 30 minutes. However, it fails on the OCCT small dataset. For OCCT success, I require 1.32v.
