I managed to push my CPU to 4.5ghz using a 240 AIO from Cooler Master. It operates at 1.42500 volts, which is above my preferred setting but still within safe limits. I plan to pursue an infinity fabric OC soon. If anyone shares their results, I’d really appreciate it.

It's not true. The maximum at 1.325v is 2 unless you need faster wear.

It was around 1.425 volts. I only thought about the heat while running the stress test.

The main concern wasn't whether Zen 1 was safer at higher voltages, but rather how it performed under stress. My early findings show it stalls around 30-34°C, reaching 73°C after two hours of full load.

The 1.425v setting works well on my R7 1700, yet a higher stock cooler from the start seems unnecessary?

A 14nm processor that supports higher voltage ratings is needed. Zen 2’s safe operating range is somewhat unclear, but most chips tolerate voltages up to around 1.3V or less, while 1.42V exceeds typical limits for that architecture.

What are you referring to? It seems some are questioning whether the voltage you mentioned is secure, while others claim it's not. I don’t recall anyone suggesting such a high voltage is safe for a 3600X.

It was a bit of a detour since my original R7 1700 experienced a Memory Controller issue. I'm expecting the 12 Core (or the final version with 4900/5900) in October. That’s great to know. Could you believe I might still reach 4.5 under water at a lower voltage?
