I understand you're looking at around 450 games on Steam, but I can't access that data.

I purchased many of my games at discounted prices or through Humble Bundle, so this should be near the expected cost.

I waste even more money on things I don’t need.

Only include games purchased through Steam Sales that you've played for more than a few hours. Anything else counts as a negative since it was bought impulsively without playing. The total should likely decrease and possibly become negative. Humble Bundle is generally better for Steam Sales purchases.

I own a few hundred titles and mostly purchase just a handful at full price. Rarely do I buy more than ten dollars worth, and I prefer games that are at least sixty-six percent off. Many folks have a few dozen free games from giveaways or similar sources. It’s surprising how people come up with precise numbers unless you’ve collected a lot of titles. Where do you usually discover those figures?

I purchased Gmod and HL2 for $2.50 each, plus a few more titles. I discovered 18 games totaling $190.87 worth and around 429 hours played. My Steam spending has been much lower, about $45 overall.
