I purchased many of my games at discounted prices or through Humble Bundle, so this should be near the expected cost.
Only include games purchased through Steam Sales that you've played for more than a few hours. Anything else counts as a negative since it was bought impulsively without playing. The total should likely decrease and possibly become negative. Humble Bundle is generally better for Steam Sales purchases.
I own a few hundred titles and mostly purchase just a handful at full price. Rarely do I buy more than ten dollars worth, and I prefer games that are at least sixty-six percent off. Many folks have a few dozen free games from giveaways or similar sources. It’s surprising how people come up with precise numbers unless you’ve collected a lot of titles. Where do you usually discover those figures?
