I recently upgraded my RAM to a Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB package, but it’s stuck at a base frequency of 2666mhz. The manufacturer claims it should reach 3200mhz, yet the retail speed isn’t being applied. I’ve adjusted settings in the MSI BIOS and changed some parameters, but nothing works. I’m currently using it with an MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI motherboard. Could someone assist in setting the default speed to 3200mhz?

xmp is active but hasn't increased its frequency to 3200mhz yet. I haven't adjusted my RAM speeds much, so this is unfamiliar territory for me.

Open CPU-Z and navigate to the SPD tab, it will indicate the XMP profile required in your BIOS settings for optimal performance.

CPU-Z is a utility that displays information about your computer's hardware, especially the CPU details. It helps you identify the processor model, speed, and other specifications.

It provides details about your CPU and RAM, including supported speeds and dual-channel support. Check the "Memory" and "SPD" sections during use.

CPU-Z serves solely to display the necessary details. Move to the section marked "SPD" to view compatible RAM profiles. Look for a profile at 1600 MHz (3200 MHz effective). Choose that one in your BIOS settings. Consider sharing a screenshot of the information shown by CPU-Z.
