Update the BIOS settings. Change the SOC to 1.1 Dram to 1.35. Set the temperature to 3200 and verify boot functionality. Run memtest86 and OCCT to ensure stability. Good luck!

Did you confirm the advertised frequency was 3200 MHz? The actual speed appears to be around 2666 MHz. Looking up the part "CMW16GX4M2A 2666 C16" shows RAM models supporting 2666 MHz.

What changes need to be made to the bios, how do I check the status, and what steps set it to 1.35?

I purchased this particular RAM module and it lists a 3200MHz speed. Now I’m quite puzzled about what that means.

A brief reminder: Your RAM operates in single-channel mode, which means you might be installing the incorrect slots on your motherboard.

You can adjust the settings to switch to dual channel by accessing the configuration options and selecting the appropriate audio mode.

See a brief clip that summarizes the process. It explains configuring the SOC voltage to 1.1, setting the DRAM voltage to 1.35. Easy to understand, no complicated stuff!

Review the guide: https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe...37v1.1.pdf. When using two RAM modules, install them in slots A2 and B2 (refer to page 5).

Adjust the settings to 1.1 for the SOC and 1.35 for the DRAM, then attempt it again if that fails. If unsuccessful, proceed to update the BIOS.
