Hello everyone. I'm trying to set my Ryzen 5 2600 and B450 Tomahawk to 4GHz. I changed the CPU ratio to 40.00 (4000MHz) but when adjusting the core voltage, I only see two choices: override mode and offset mode. Which one should I select? Thanks in advance.

Quick summary of the overclocking validation process.
Adjust CPU multiplier and voltage in BIOS to target values without using presets or automatic tools. This prevents excessive compensation on core and other voltages. Manually set most core parameters, and keep remaining settings on auto until you decide to fine-tune cache frequency, system agent voltage, VCCIO, memory speeds, or timings after the CPU stabilizes.
Save the BIOS configuration (creating a new profile if supported) and exit.
Launch Windows desktop environment and install Prime95...

A CPU ratio of 40 will reach 4ghz. I prefer offset mode because it makes it simple to see the exact voltage. Which cooler are you using?

It seems you're asking about the purpose of something, but the context isn't clear. Could you provide more details? I'm here to help clarify!

The B350 gaming plus lacked offset mode prior to a recent BIOS release.

Check the options for adjusting the CPU core voltage by selecting either offset or override and entering 1.3v.

It is important to verify that the system remains stable thermally and does not experience crashes under stress. I strongly recommend reviewing or watching a guide. You should not rely on assumptions or imitate others' configurations.

I've seen the tutorial and checked the link. It mentions copying settings for the same CPU. What are your thoughts?
