Not all CPUs are identical in performance. Many can handle that speed at a certain voltage, but stability is essential.
Which cooler do you have? The standard one won’t be reliable at 4GHz.
If you're unsure, I won't be able to assist you. That explanation likely covered all the information you needed about your question.
AFAIK PBO is compatible only with 'X' CPUs.
Note: At least for Ryzen 2K.
It's accurate, but I wasn't focusing on PBO specifically. Instead, I was talking about the approach for voltage offsets. Perhaps I could have dedicated more time to a more precise solution. The original question didn't request instructions on applying offsets; it only asked if offsets should be used or overridden.
Sure, you can try selecting override mode and gradually increasing the voltage until your CPU runs smoothly without overheating or crashing.
Do not exceed 80ish c and 1.4v max. Set to 4ghz with 1.3v. Analyze p95 using small FFT. Temperatures are acceptable and stable. Reduce voltage slightly and recheck stress. If crashes occur, make a minor voltage adjustment and ensure average temperatures remain normal.
