The 13C delta works well; some cards support up to 20C, and those are still fine.
Hot spot sits at 83°C out of 110°C... excellent.
Presets aren't always the best choice; the lowest setting doesn't always mean the simplest workload for the hardware.
We're using 1440p resolution – it's not 4k, but it adds about 78% more pixels to process in the game compared to 1080p; this isn't negligible, even at the lowest preset.
Temperatures between 21-27°C... but the surrounding case temperature stays higher. We should consider what that will be after a few minutes of GPU operation, since that's what the GPU will actually be cooling down to, not just the room temperature.
Thank you for the information. It gives a clearer view. Would it be reasonable to let GeForce Experience adjust the game settings for you? I've usually doubted its usefulness beyond driver updates.
I understand your point, though I'm not convinced GFE is dependable. Its approach relies on crowd-sourced optimization, which often fails in real-world scenarios due to the complexity of numerous independent factors.
What's the card's age? If usage has caused temperature rises, it's quite typical and might require reapplying thermal paste or pads. For a quick fix before reapplying, you could underclock your GPU, which is an effective method to cut power use, heat, and boost performance.
Adjusting the graphics to low doesn't reduce the card's performance. It can handle full power as long as there are no FPS restrictions in place.
