You're facing an issue where your two 8G DDR4 modules are being treated as reserved, and your BIOS shows you're using single-channel memory. This can happen if the system isn't recognizing the full capacity of your RAM. Since your motherboard only has two slots, it's likely limited to a dual-channel setup. You may need to check the RAM installation method—ensure both sticks are seated properly and that they're not damaged. If possible, try removing one stick at a time to see if the issue resolves. Consult your motherboard manual or manufacturer support for guidance on dual-channel configurations.

Have you attempted just deleting them and reinserting them, perhaps it will resolve the issue? Even with the A stick in B and B stick in A?

I've encountered the same issue again. I also captured some screenshots from the BIOS for extra details.

Walk through our troubleshooting process one step at a time. I’ll explain each action we’ve taken and any memory settings we’ve applied.

Up to now I've only tested the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool, but it didn't show anything, and I ran memtest on a single RAM stick once with one pass too. @Master The situation is serious—I haven't updated the BIOS before.

Start by resetting the RAM if needed, then remove the CMOS battery.

It seems you're reviewing some custom bios settings and wondering if they changed anything. Take your time to verify.

Where exactly they were working? Most people think the problem lies with faulty RAM or a bad slot in the board.

I just reverted all BIOS configurations, likely resetting the CMOS, but the issue still remains. I’m 90% confident they were functioning properly. It’s possible I have some vision difficulties and it might have been missed for a while.
