That's great news! If anything occurs again, it might be an issue with the ISO or disk. You're also using Windows 8? If that's the case and it was your main concern, you should revert to your earlier Windows version and restore your files.

I chose to switch to Windows 10 during the process. The middle mouse button kept being a problem. Of course, I’ll need a different mouse, but it’s still better than a new hard drive.

I wasn't referring to a defective HDD, it was about a problematic Windows installation media (the disk used for setup)....Yes, that's it too! Don't forget to label it as Solved! Wishing you success in your upcoming tech achievements!
