On 29th Feb I received a win 10 cumulative update with a screenshot. Following that, I encountered the "Your windows license will expire soon" notification randomly. What should I do? It's really bothersome when the game minimizes unexpectedly during play—about 2 to 5 times per hour, which seems occasional. Please help me resolve this.

The process prompts you to check your settings, but it doesn't indicate an invalid key. It simply asks for confirmation or adjustments.

Keyless Windows works reasonably well. I sometimes test it inside a virtual machine, but adjust the configuration and observe the results.

Have you ever obtained a license for Windows 10? What occurs when you navigate to Settings and attempt activation? You might also launch Start and execute 'slmgr.vbs /ato' to try activating it. If that doesn't succeed, provide the output here. Additionally, run 'slmgr.vbs /dlv' and share the result.

Hey guys, I got my laptop with genuine Windows 10 pre-installed about 2.5 years ago. Everything was fine until the most recent update.

I would contact Microsoft about it. It seems to believe it's a commercial Windows 10 license for business use rather than for personal use. Did you receive it through a work-related process?

Is it a used or refurbished unit? That question indicates Windows was activated on a corporate network (or via unofficial tools). In such scenarios the OS must request a renewal. Therefore the prompt appears. If the device is brand new, reach out to the manufacturer. If not, contact the store—both may send you to Microsoft support.

It seems the hard drive was damaged by a shock, so I swapped it out for an SSD. After restarting, the system recognized my laptop immediately. There were no issues until that day when I updated. I’m considering reaching out to Microsoft or trying to uninstall the update just to be safe.
