Hello, You can adjust the architecture settings on your 64-bit OS to run x86 programs. Check if your system supports it and follow the appropriate steps to enable 32-bit mode.

This doesn't make sense. 64-bit x86-64 chips work with older 32-bit programs. Windows 64-bit removed support for the old 16-bit versions long ago, and that's happened for years. Are you using an ARM-based laptop?

This seems to be a concern about compatibility. I’m curious about the specific model and details of your laptop.

It's odd, and I'm not sure what my laptop is. I just remember it's an HP with an i7-10th gen and integrated graphics. Running games in 32-bit instead of 64-bit seems to cause issues.

Your message suggests your laptop likely uses a 32-bit version of Windows. You should only have the "Program Files" directory, not a separate "Program Files (x86)". Verify both your laptop and desktop to confirm. It seems you can't turn off 32-bit support in 64-bit Windows, unless you're actually running 64-bit programs.

My computer isn't a 32-bit model, I know 32-bit can handle up to 4GB of RAM, but my machine has 8GB and the system info shows it's 64-bit.

When there’s no option to turn it off, check if your system runs 64-bit but the games are still using 32-bit, which can cause instability and weird behavior.

Typically, a program adapts to the architecture it's built for—32-bit for x86 and 64-bit for x86-64. This means you can't directly run a 64-bit program on a 32-bit system without changes.

It depends on the game; a 32-bit title runs in 32-bit mode. For better understanding, check the Windows system details—ideally 64-bit for both operating system and processor.

GTA, Minecraft and Roblox work in 32-bit on my PC but not on my laptop. Also, both my PC and laptop list x64 as the OS and CPU details.
