Do you have the 'balanced' or 'high performance' power plan selected? Based on my observations, the 'high performance' setting increases speed but may raise your score later.

That's expected. It'll ride that thermal limit in an all core workload. Only way around that being a delidded CPU or some sort of sub ambient cooling.
