I own this configuration: x670e-a Corsair 6200 cl36 32GB 4090 7950X3D. Only 17k in Cinebench R23. Kraken Z73 is enabled, but RAM speed drops to 5600MHz. My PC is brand new with fresh Windows, and all tests show lower performance than expected. The cooler displays 67-70°C during gaming.

The score seems low on multicore performance. It might be due to thermal throttling. Could you share the current temperature and which CPU cooler is installed? Also, what are your Ryzen Master and BIOS settings?

Updated note, I'm using Kraken Z73 and it's usually between 60-70°C during games. My BIOS is set to XMP 5600 on RAM, and I don't have Ryzen Master installed.

Which BIOS version are you using? I understand ASUS had certain BIOS updates that could affect performance with the X3D processors, so checking the revision will help ensure compatibility and allow you to activate XMP for that RAM set.

It looks like your system isn't fully optimized for the X3D CPU yet. Updating the BIOS should help. The latest X3D support was included in AMD AGESA 1.0.0.7b last month, and a new version 1.0.0.7c was released this month. Keep an eye on future updates as AMD continues to refine their CPU platform.

The boost clock ranges from 4.8 to 4.9GHz across all cores, with temperatures between 85 and 89°C. If it doesn’t hit those speeds or stays below 85°C, the thermal management might be faulty. If it fails to reach +85°C completely, the UEFI/Windows scheduler could be the cause.

It seems you're noticing limited performance. Review the task manager to verify all 16 cores are active and multithreading is turned on. A 17K core usage at R23 should work well with a 7700x/7800x3D setup.
