Turning on the XMP profile causes your computer to restart. The standard XMP setting isn’t sufficient. You prefer avoiding automatic speed adjustments.

You're asking about why the default skip profile isn't sufficient. After enabling a workaround, your PC does restart once to implement the changes. Is it restarting more than once?

Is the BIOS current? If yes but malfunctioning, try a reduced frequency. Additionally, you need to adjust the base clock manually; your board is enhancing performance for unfair advantages.
