I'm about to face some questions. I just arrived home with my RX 7800XT. While I plan to upgrade to an 850W power supply soon, I'm currently using my old CV550W PSU. It's functioning fine, but I wanted to check if running games would affect it or cause issues. (I have 24GB/3200Mhz RAM and have been working on troubleshooting for a while.)

It varies based on your CPU and other parts. Could you share the details so I can provide the complete spec?

The pic is for monitoring the situation; the PSU should hold up temporarily. If it fails, lower the settings and FPS.

Some folks were warning about potential damage to the CPU/GPU. I had to write this because of that concern. My system uses an R7 5700X.

The power supply can only provide up to 550W, in the worst case it might not be sufficient, but there’s no risk of explosion.

They're wrong about that. A GPU won't die because of low power—it might stop working, crash, or show strange results instead.

Are you certain the CPU isn't a 5700 G and not a 5700 X? With that shared GPU memory, I'm prepared to guess your CPU is an APU. Also, why is so much RAM being consumed?!?! 6.8/7.9 used?!?!?

Oh no, I confused the shared memory with the integrated allocated memory.
