They launched an experimental version, and I no longer experience stuttering—everything runs seamlessly. In Steam, right-click the game, go to properties, choose the beta tab, type "3xperimental" in the code box, and download. It's roughly 17mb, but it significantly improves performance. They also introduced a mouse smoothing option in the settings menu. The main menu splash screen runs at about 30 fps for around five seconds before jumping to a smoother frame rate.

From my observations, the graphics options remain unchanged and the game appears blurry and low quality.

System runs smoothly at around 80 FPS. Experienced a minor dip yesterday and a single CTD reading today, but everything stabilized afterward. If alt-tabbing disrupts the session, simply launch it through Steam again to return to fullscreen.

I became frustrated because I had to press my left button constantly whenever I wanted to click something.

My settings are shown here, and I've experienced several issues with random FPS drops, extreme micro-stutters, the game flashing intensely whenever a menu, screen, or achievement appears other than the main game, plus difficulty reopening the game when I move the tab out. At least I haven't had crashes. EDIT: I also can't adjust my mouse sensitivity in the game—it's stuck at 50, which is around 20 in most games.

While I get 80s and 90s without vsync frametimes are bad, high 20s. But it's playable I'm happily stuttering across the universe. Found a pretty nice forest planet I'm gonna mine in full to afford a large ship. Already named several species look for the thick cow, the lion goat and the bitailosaurus.

Crashing, stuttering, low frame rates. Running at 6700k with GTX 1080. Extremely unstable game.

I'm looking at the performance of an older i5-2400 with a GTX970 card on a 3440x1440 screen. What can I anticipate from that setup? Would a 2560x1080 display offer a better experience?
