My car's performance: Xeon E3 1231 V3, GTX 950, 8GB RAM at 1600MHz. I've kept a steady 50fps with medium settings and no anti-aliasing. Luckily, I've faced few problems. What about others?
Have you resolved the problem? Several solutions are being discussed.
All my gear works perfectly. My GT 740 graphics card still handles 14 to 28 frames at low settings. If they improve that port, I might get 30 or more. Just a heads up—I’m really behind the dev, but they messed up the port last time. I’ve got a friend who owns an Alienware machine with the best setup, and he gets those same frames. He also has the premium Alienware unit.
I'm maintaining 40-60 FPS with all settings at High, 16x autofocus, and FXAA at 1440p. Occasionally I notice some frame drops, which appears to be a common issue. This should likely get fixed in an update. Overall it runs smoothly. The game struggles with Alt+Tabbing or exiting too quickly, causing crashes on my end once and locking my PC again.
GTX 770, i7 4790K achieving 50-60fps at 1080p with occasional minor delays. I’ve experienced a bit of lag occasionally, but nothing bothersome. I’d support @Hasle’s suggestion about using alt tabbing—when I do, the game keeps running but won’t show up and stays on my desktop even though I can still manage it.
60 frames per second at the highest resolution 1080p, yet the game freezes sharply and intensely, putting a significant strain on your CPU. People are raising their hands if they were tricked by that opening screen.
60 frames per second at a resolution of 3440x1440, with significant stuttering during environment loading (approximately every 10 seconds).
It seemed like it crashed, and having to tap and hold in the menu feels bothersome.
