hi guys i am getting this message from windows update The Windows 10 May 2019 Update is on its way. We're offering this update to compatible devices, but your device isn't quite ready for it. Once your device is ready, you'll see the update available on this page. There's nothing you need to do at this time. Obviously it wants me to wait, but does anybody have any idea how long i will have to wait?? i cant find any answers online. I read somewhere that some people has to wait 4 month for the 1809 update As far as i know my PC is fully updated apart from the 1903 update. The reason i want it is because i just got the xbox game pass and i cant install the app to use it properly until i have this update. Thanks for any help

What details are available? A manual setup is possible via USB if needed.

I didn’t need to push it unless I really needed it. My PC specs are listed in my profile.

Use the Windows Media Creation Tool to generate a bootable USB drive. After that, simply disconnect your Ethernet cable or turn off Wi-Fi and launch the setup on the USB. You won’t need to power it up—just run it inside Windows. Being offline removes compatibility verification, so the process continues straight through without interruption. I’ve never faced any problems at work; the check seems unnecessary.

Do you have any external drives attached? You must take them out first. I also had to remove them before applying the update.

Is this safe to proceed with, or should you let it happen naturally? Updating manually won’t interfere with your saved games, and I’m sure it’s fine as long as you’re comfortable with the process.

I have a USB and wireless Xbox controller, if that's the issue I'm about to panic a bit 😅

Remove all unnecessary items from the USB drive. Keep only your keyboard and mouse. This issue is currently recognized.
