It's a fire hazard, because it's a very poor quality power supply. It's made with inferior parts. It shouldn't be used with a relatively power hungry GPU. It's likely the PSU will trip it's overprotection and restart your PC. This is not good. If the PSU goes 'POP', then there is a chance it can damage your other components. You should really get a decent quality PSU. It is the heart of your system. You want a strong heart, right?
Checking the RAM configuration on your motherboard. Are the slots labeled 2 and 4, or are the RAM modules positioned close together?
My RAM runs at 2667mhz since my CPU's maximum is also 2667mhz. They are located in slots 2 and 4.
Alright thanks man. I’ve been running with the 1080 Ti in my PC for about three months. Do i need to upgrade the PSU right away, or can i keep on playing? Because i just bought a VR headset, and im dying to use it haha. I haven’t had any issues yet with the PSU and 1080 Ti. I plan to upgrade the PSU, motherboard, and CPU once i save up for it. PSU as a top priority
