You don't have a documents folder on your C:\ drive. It has been moved to your secondary HDD, which holds the documents. Everything saved is directed to E:\. Your 1.) Local Disk (CSmile contains a 120GB SSD with your OS, and 2.) Storage (ESmile is a 3TB HDD where the lost files were stored.

It's for a reason I emphasized this point. Perhaps underlining would help too. Your files remain on the **E:\** folder, but the **Documents** section no longer links properly.

Display the specified paths side by side to verify the Document link location.

I also right click>properties nothing there as well. I know what you are talking about. This is the option right? Well I don't see it anywhere. I'l even show it to you.

Certainly, in the E: Drive section, where "documents" is listed, you should be able to click on it to view all your files.

These are the files I lost, and they disappeared completely. I managed to get them back with EaseUS Recovery, but I still can’t access any of the deleted ones. I’ll share the documents I lost on the E: drive before this happened.

The "Previous Version" settings are unavailable in Windows 8. They have been deleted to improve functionality: File History is now used instead.

It was removed when the system restored previous versions by default during your reinstallation. This behavior is similar to what many other clients experienced with Win 7 Ultimate.
