You're setting up your first desktop and have some interesting results. After removing your old RAID0 and adding another drive, you're seeing around 11GB/s read and 3.5GB/s write. When you tried to download Forza Horizon 4 from the old array, it downloaded quickly—under 10 minutes for 75GB at about 1.2 Gb/s. That’s unusual given your current speeds. What’s happening?

Your internet service provider might be overreacting, or there could be an issue with your current plan. Review your invoice to confirm any changes.

Unreal. The speed is too low; they likely already have 10Gbit or more. It’s probably just a minor issue. @aCatchyUserName When was the last time you installed the game, and did you run it on the same device?

He modem might just not support 10Gb speeds. What I meant was that based on my experience, I’m charged for 70Mbps yet receive around 100Mbps.

Yes, I saved the file to my software raid0 array, removed the array afterward, added the additional drive, and then began the download process.

Many files are reduced in size, and download speeds may show both the true game content and the compressed data size you received. Check the task manager for the actual speed on your network card while downloading, or use a smart router to see the real rate for that stream.

The last time I cleared my temporary files was several months ago.

Yes, it appears to be decompressing while downloading.
