I purchased my PC on December 24, 2022. Fearing the build process would be too complex, I left it at a shop to have it assembled for me. The configuration includes: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, CL16 orion black motherboard, 1x 650W Sharkoon SHP650 V2, Intel Sapphire AMD NITRO+ with RX 6600 XT, and an AMD Ryzen 5 12400 Alder Lake processor. The system features Gigabyte H610M H DDR4 RAM, Kingston NV2 NVMe SSD, a 500GB PCIe 1TB Seagate drive, and a 25W 240Hz monitor. I've tried every optimization method available, but results remain disappointing—performance stays around 160-250 FPS in Valorant, 180-195 FPS in League of Legends, and 140-190 FPS in Fortnite, even with similar settings. Videos show better performance on comparable builds. I also reinstalled Windows 11 and kept the same configuration. P.S., I restarted the CMOS.
Did I understand correctly, I only noticed one stick of RAM? That's not ideal, especially since it lacks dual channel support. The H610M doesn't seem very good either, though it should work for a budget build. Overall, the system looks okay to me. Besides that, I'm having trouble with the 160-250 range, maybe it's just my issue. Edited December 5, 2023 by leclod
The focus isn't on this... Someone with a weaker setup is achieving double the frames per second compared to their actual performance.
We understand it will boost his FPS, which is what we both agreed on, but it won’t deliver the performance he’s falling short of.
He faced an ongoing issue where his system didn’t perform well, no matter how many RAM sticks he added. That’s exactly what I noticed from the start.
Clearing the CMOS restores memory settings back to standard JEDEC specifications. Running games from a physical drive slightly reduces speed. High temperatures affect performance. Are the newest BIOS and drivers installed?
