The dual channel memory definitely improves performance, though not exactly doubling it. Could you verify his settings, resolution, specifications, and current FPS? The frame rate you mentioned seems a bit higher for his GPU, but I’m not sure. EDIT - Issue resolved. As @wasab noted, using RGB will boost performance by at least 200–300 fps. That’s a noticeable difference. It’s likely your friend also has RGB, which explains the higher numbers.
