I acquired it from an unknown source. Windows 10 was officially launched in October 2015.

I'm facing the same problem too. I ignored the activation, but my Windows 7 still shows as valid with the sticker and product key. It's not working properly.

I selected the 'create media thingy blablabla' choice during setup. The system simply uploaded an ISO file.
