Hello everyone, just wondering what the maximum stable 100% overclock was for your 3700X. You mentioned running it at 4.4GHz all-core with 1.325V, while most others seem to cap around 4.2 or 4.3 on Ryzen 3000 chips. Your benchmarks show temps around 85°C during Cinebench, but you usually don’t run at full load. Under regular use, it stays between 70-75°C thanks to the NH-D15 cooling. Your latest Cinebench R20 score was 5028 with a 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix 3600MHz CL16 setup (now running at 3600MHz CL14). So yes, you definitely achieved a solid stable overclock!

It works well with all my PC tasks except for the Mordhau game. That’s unusual since the game is starting to behave poorly whenever I push my system overclocking beyond 8600K. A modest 100MHz boost on any CPU usually doesn’t cause problems, but other applications remain smooth. Everything else functions normally without crashes or unexpected behavior.

It works well with all my PC tasks except for the Mordhau game. That’s unusual since the game is starting to behave poorly whenever I push my system overclocking beyond 8600K. A modest 100MHz boost on any CPU usually doesn’t cause problems, but other applications remain smooth. Everything else functions normally without crashes or unexpected behavior.

My previous assessment was based on about three hours of constant cinebench r20 testing. No issues were encountered. Since I didn’t face any errors or crashes in other scenarios, it seems stable. I’m not willing to wait 24 hours just to check for potential problems after 23 hours of load—that’s an impractical situation. Running a short two-hour memtest was sufficient for now.

Latest chips indeed feature improved silicon. That might be the reason. If stability is confirmed, that’s a positive sign.

I've been looking into Zen 2—it doesn't handle higher voltages as well as its earlier versions. It's hard to tell if 1.325 is excessive or not.
