I found this video that really caught my attention. It seems it took a lot of time and powerful computers to create, but realistic snow effects would be amazing in games. Imagine combining it with Oculus for an immersive experience where you can walk through snow and feel the sound beneath your feet. What aspects of game physics could be better? A few of the really bad things we experienced 20 years ago: super fragile glass, outdated science (like in Crysis), and reactions to someone getting hurt (the project for the N64). A YouTube person also made two videos about it.
Absolutely, we should crank up the effort a bit. It’d be awesome though. Hehehe!
