It doesn’t damage my eyes (though it does cause some strain, particularly during games I usually play at 60). Still, I can manage to play at 30—it’s mostly a minor irritation compared to the usual fluidity at 60.

Currently, I observe a significant decrease from around 60/45 to 60/30 or lower.

I just added a GPU to my setup. It runs Skyrim smoothly at high-medium settings, delivering 30-60 FPS. It’s way better than playing on the console, and I find it easier to enjoy CoD on PS3 now.

I struggle with coding on PS3, often losing everything to my friends. When we tried it on a PC at a cafe, I messed up and now don’t even have the game there. Getting revenge feels nice.

I have a limited selection of games that run smoothly under 60 FPS. These include Company of Heroes, Diablo 3, Minecraft, and some titles that don’t rely heavily on frequent updates (papers Please, Prison Architect, Risk of Rain, etc.). Beyond that, I start prioritizing antialiasing to maintain around 60 FPS. My Precision X caps my frame rate at 75, but since both monitors are 60 Hz and the stable maximum is 75, I often run dual 75 settings for smoother performance. I can play Halo 3 on a 360 setup and adapt quickly, though it feels a bit off initially—possibly due to the distance between my eyes and the screen compared to a PC setup.

Usually you rely on the controller, but switching to mouse and keyboard can be quite challenging to adapt to. Still, it works fine! I still have my friends and others online in CoD.

60 frames per second is the lowest I need for using a mouse and keyboard. In a game with a controller, 30 frames per second works but isn't the best.

I believe GTA San An remains solid, especially on PC! But honestly, I struggle to enjoy anything under 60fps—it really messes with me. http://www.30vs60.com/
