I'm not concerned about the details. AMD says it's possible at a 1:1 ratio up to 4000mhz. I've heard from some folks that they've achieved that. Jumper managed it at 1900mhz CL12, which is quite impressive. Running at 100mhz is just shy of 2000 effective. The gap seems small, especially when using a Cas 12. It looks like the memory might have simply refused to cooperate. Flanker joined in for some advice—check the Cinebench thread, last two pages.

I wasn't at the PC, probably trying a Kraken X73. I’d prefer an Ek Aio, but I can’t find it in stores yet—so it might not arrive on time for the build. Plus, they don’t have it in stock.

Exactly right. It should perform well without overheating. A 360 MHz frequency is sufficient. Verify the FIT voltage and avoid exceeding its normal limits. I anticipate the same 7nm node will maintain roughly the same core threshold of about 1.325V across all cores. However, I’ll have to wait until more people begin overclocking to see better results. Meanwhile, keep monitoring the OC forums for any notable insights that could help fine-tune performance.

Using it as-is will improve performance more at colder temperatures. The approach will remain largely the same, just with a slightly different SenseMi method.
