Windows includes its own email client, but it only supports Hotmail or Outlook. Since you mostly use Gmail instead, you’ll need to set up your Gmail account to receive notifications there. Follow the steps in your email settings to link your Gmail account and get updates directly from it.

I prefer it this way. The extra trouble isn’t worth it. My MS Store isn’t working right now, so I can’t add the Gmail app.

1. Open the Mail App settings. Press Win+I to launch it.
2- Choose Accounts, then tap Add an account.
3- Pick the email service the Mail app uses, and enter the details.

It actually functioned. The main issue was that spam messages were interfering with my important communications.
