I upgraded my GTX 560 SE to an RX 480 with 8GB of RAM. My Pentium G3250 and 10GB of memory were from a much cheaper machine, like an Athlon II X2 4400e with only 3GB RAM and a Radeon 3000. With the new graphics card, I’m hoping to run games such as A Plague Tale Requiem and Cyberpunk at 720p low settings while maintaining around 30 frames per second.

It seems your system doesn't meet the necessary specifications for those titles.

I noticed videos on YouTube showing people using this CPU model, like the i3-2120, which makes me curious. I also checked howmanyfps.com and thought it might be possible, though I’m not sure about its reliability. My plan is to reduce CPU usage, boost resolution and certain settings so the GPU can handle more work, but I’m unsure if this will help.

Check out HowManyFPS.com for more details, but keep in mind their accuracy isn't always reliable.

Cyberpunk (a little skeptical about this one): Requiem (here is i3-3220 my bad): Both of these gpus are worse than rx 480 so i thought i could maybe get same fps if i have a little slower processor but better gpu. Edit: There is also this one:

Note that it's barely pulling 30fps out in the desert at the very beginning of the game in the Nomad life path start, where there's hardly anything going on. Once you're in the city, forget about it. Your plan to "limit the CPU load" is just making a weak CPU weaker. If you're not fast enough to win a foot race, the solution isn't to shoot yourself in the foot so you can do the race at more leisurely walking speed instead.

I considered reducing the CPU load and boosting the settings to make the GPU work more, aiming for around 30-40% usage and possibly higher. I’m not very experienced, so it might just be my initial thought...

For a G3250 board, compatible boards should work with any non-overclocked Haswell processor. A model like the i7-4770 around $50 will significantly improve performance, allowing you to run most games smoothly at 1080p with modest settings.

Sure, OP could definitely change the approach. You’d likely stick to AAA titles but expect to play them at a very low setting most of the time. Only a medium performance would be possible for less demanding games.
