It seems we can't label it as 1080p because that usually refers to 1920x1080 resolution. However, since you're displaying more pixels, the definition changes.

We measure resolution using just one value from the given set. The discussion centers on aspect ratios—4:3, 16:9, 21:9—which can share the same resolution, but the total pixel count changes.

Hey there! I’m just getting started with all this. Recently I sold my PS4 and bought a pre-built PC, not knowing much about building it myself, so I went ahead. I’m into games like Star Citizen and want to know if my new rig can handle them. Here are the specs: an i7 4790k with an air cooler, an Asrock Z97 Extreme 3 LGA 1150, 16GB of G.Skill RipjawsX 1600MHz DDR3, and a MSI GeForce GTX 980Ti with 6GB RAM. Can I run it at 1920x1080? Also, I have a 23-inch LED monitor (23MP, 65Hz). Is it possible to get around 60 frames per second? Thanks for your help!

It won't be reliable since it remains in alpha, though you should be able to operate it fairly well.

I’ll likely wait a bit more before purchasing and playing.

I completed this today and the results were terrible. It was completely chaotic. I didn’t run a user configuration as if it were written here.

The problem is clear. 1.3 isn't fixed since the team is focused on 2.0.
