It's a unofficial patch, we usually work together often. Most of us got it working about 90%. The 1.3 version caused another issue.
Performance-wise, 1.3 is the least efficient patch they've released so far. Fixes can be applied by using a user.cfg as outlined here: https://forums.robertsspaceindustries.co...in-ac-v1-3. Manually turning off Vsync and motion blur also makes a big difference. In the game, do this in the console (^) by typing r_VSync = 0 and r_MotionBlur = 0. You might also set it directly in user.cfg, though that didn't work for me. Since you'll only need to do it once after removing the user folder, I'm used to handling it that way.
I reviewed a 2.0 reference and found it useful for enabling VSync. It also provided details on the number of CPU cores SC can utilize.
