Generally the pump atop the noisy fan sounds louder than the noctua model. It produced a noticeable shaking sound that I could hear from a distance. I had to admit I was frustrated during the online test because it didn’t mention how loud the pump was. Now I feel a bit confused x) This is still the only AIO I’ve ever used, so there’s nothing to compare with. Thanks! I upgraded from a quiet dark rock 4 and thought it wasn’t much better at the time (to keep my sanity). Glad I didn’t miss anything and that my current nhd15 setup still works fine. Sounds like a good plan to consider a Thermalright one—it’s affordable and easier to install than the Thermal Grizly. Would be nice to hear if it performs well.

I used the pump/cooler, and it operated very quietly. The main issue was with the fans.

The CM AIO was set up in the front position, with the CPU frame located at the back. It was mounted on the top surface.

It was installed on a standard mountain motherboard (a BEAKY silent base 801 with the pipe positioned to the right of the CPU, mounted on the top of the case via a dedicated moving component). I had some trouble fitting it in because the board felt a bit rigid.

This method avoids the issue of trapped air bubbles. Expect some fan sounds, and the pump will likely come into play later.

The ml360 fans produce a strong sound when used at maximum capacity, but they are inexpensive and don’t deliver great performance.

I've just installed it and... it still reaches 100°C quite quickly obviously, but that outcome is disappointing. Unfortunately, this isn't a flawless test since I also overloaded my CPU with some extreme thermal paste (instead of the standard one). Also, I'm pretty sure everything could have been done better—like tightening screws, the cooler, the CPU backplate. It was a real mess and I initially thought I'd succeeded. Thanks a lot for the advice! I wasn't expecting to reach 37767 (the best score at the time) to about 39500 (which jumps from 39000 to 39700 depending on the run). Clearly, my best investment of 13€ on the Thermalright LGA1700-BCF now gives me a CPU with a "satisfactory" result, so I won't worry anymore. But if anyone knows how to spend another 13€ for similar improvement, I'd consider it.

Well, you can try push-pull on the CM AIO if you have enough space to mount it. Also, make sure to run Cinebench as an Administrator.
