I handle Origin fine, though it’s not terrible. However, uPlay isn’t something I use. I won’t pay Ubisoft until they fix things. I only have access because someone gave me a code for a free copy of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. Steam is my top choice for digital PC games.
My friend, Ubisoft seems to have dropped after Sims 3—the last solid game. uPlay is really buggy, the site keeps throwing errors when I try to fix things; I’m nervous about paying for another script issue. Steam Trading Cards are impressive, and soon they’ll turn into Steam boxes, possibly shaking up the console scene. VAC is great. The uPlay and Origin clients look like they were built with Visual Basic by someone who watched a few YouTube tutorials.
When a title isn't available on Steam, I'll seek alternatives by downloading it illegally.
